Resolution of Data
vinv supports inventory data at the individual tree level by default. Each tree is defined by various individual attributes like location, tree height, DBH… Thereby, the storage of aggregated data is deliberately avoided.
vinv data structure is developed to support a large intersection of common inventory methods. So attributes can be real meassurements from field data and processed laser scannings or simulated and predicted values from algorithms and machine learning.
